Striving for localization in Japan. Developing a local manufacturing facility for offshore wind turbine towers at our Futtsu Plant.
Overview
Powered by an extensive expertise and many years of experience in steel structures fabrication, we're building a factory for wind turbine towers manufacturing for offshore industry.
Our tower manufacturing plant has been selected by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) for the Green Innovation Fund Projects, which allows us to reduce the cost of tower manufacturing.
After completion of the plant construction, we aim to produce from 20 to 30 towers annually.
We aim to achieve cost competitiveness through development of advanced welding, innovative non-destructive testing (NDT) and coating technologies.
Location
We're establishing the manufacturing facilities on the basis of partial re-conversion of our Futtsu Plant.
